LRBA Memorial Weekend Rabbit Show, 2019 (Part 2)

Part 2 of the great finale to spring show season here in the south.
My Senior doe won Best of Breed, and 2nd Reserve in the CLRBA Rare Breed Specialty Show, (BIS was judged by Tom Green), held this past weekend in conjunction with the LRBA Cajun Classic.

A handsome senior buck from Turtleback Farms took Best Opposite, AND Louisiana’s BOBOS (Best of the  Best Opposites) award!

She went on to win Best of Breed in two of the 3 LRBA shows (B & C), with Turtleback’s buck winning BOB in Aand 2 Best Opposites. A different senior buck won Best Opposite in Show C, (breeder Tex Thomas, owned by MA’s Rabbitry).

Congratulations to Turtleback Farm on their Best of Breed and Best Opposite wins! Their handsome buck made for a good challenge.
I’m excited to start working on my own lines with this fine lady, who originated from breeder Tex Thomas’ barn. There are very few in this area, and rarely do transport opportunities pass through. It’s been a challenge for the few of us here. Hopefully more people will see and fall in love with these perfectly sized, gorgeous little rabbits, and decide to add them to their show string!
